How much does Bankruptcy cost?

Bankruptcy cost depending on each individual situation. I have a policy in my office that we do not quote attorney’s fees over the phone. That’s not what usually happens with most of my competitors. They will have someone call up to there office and ask how much do you charge for a chapter 7, or how much for a chapter 13 and give them a quote. My theory is I want to quote the correct amount of attorney’s fees based on the individual situation of my clients. If someone has a very easy case with relatively low work I am going to quote them a low fee. If they have a complicated case then I am going to quote them a higher fee in order to get all the work that needs to be done, done.

If somebody quotes fees over the phone there are either two things that are happening. They are either one not charging enough which means they are going to resent the work that they are going to be doing and are going to cut corners potentially. Or two they are charging you too much, and if they are doing that, they basically are ripping you off. So that is why I visit with every single client individually, I write an action plan of what needs to happen in your case, and  quote you a fee that is custom to your actual bankruptcy case.
